Want to visit InStitches but live a bit too far away? Then why not embark on a textile adventure and stay locally?
There is a variety of B&Bs, small (and not so small) hotels, and budget chains plus the odd Airbnb to choose from. Please note that this is not a definitive listing nor is it a recommendation, as we've not stayed in any of them! For Airbnb search for Eversley, Wokingham, Yateley or Hartley Wintney (our closest villages). You'll need a car or to be prepared to take a taxi to get to us.

There are several Airbnb's advertised near the studio - although obviously these come and go so we cannot recommend specific places, however this one has been recommended by a recent student:

Our postcode is RG40 4QT (Finchampstead) - that's a good place to start on the Airbnb app. Also try searching for Eversley Cross (walking distance - just, but probably not while carrying studio supplies, it's a busy main road), Eversley, Arborfield, Yateley, Wokingham, Swallowfield, Hartley Wintney.

Two students on a recent course stayed there - they say it has comfortable clean modern rooms and is interesting with green credentials. The food choice is limited (hand-made pizzas in the courtyard) so be prepared to eat out. (That's not difficult as there are several pubs within walking distance or a short drive, but you may need to book on summer weekends.)

- Premier Inn Wokingham 15 minutes drive from the studio - it's brand new! Fairly close to the town centre - lots of places to eat.
- Premier Inn Fleet: www.premierinn.com right next to the station and a 15 minute walk from the town centre with restaurants etc
- There's also one in Sandhurst at Rackstraws - about 20 mins away by car
- Premier Inn Reading South www.premierinn.com - About 20 minutes drive
- Premier Inn Winnersh 20 minutes drive from the studio. This Premier Inn hosts the local Bar + Block which serves hotel guests and outside visitors.
- Travelodge Cove www.travelodge.co.uk
