Welcome to InStitches: at Home

We love having students in the studio, but we know not everyone can join us, so we've designed the InStitches: at Home workshops to bring the studio experience direct to you at home. We'll take you step by step through each lesson, showing you what materials you'll need, demonstrating techniques and processes and showing you how to bring them all together, just as if you were here in the studio with us!

With a choice of either Online or Online Live workshops there'll be something to suit everyone; read on to find out more...

Online workshops

With  InStitches: at Home online workshops you can
  • work at your own pace, so you have time to practise and explore your own creativity
  • choose to source your own materials or buy an InStitches: at Home kit from the InStitches Creative shop
  • watch the pre-recorded videos  as often as you like
  • follow the clear & easy course navigation which has auto resume exactly where you left off, even mid video, on any device - mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop
  • get help from us and chat to other students in a private discussion group

Online Live workshops

With  InStitches: at Home online live workshops you can
  • work all day with a renowned tutor in the comfort of your own studio (or kitchen!)
  • view on any device - mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop, via Zoom (the link will be sent to you a few days before the class date)
  • get help from the tutor throughout the day and because the Zoom class has a limited number of students you will have plenty of direct input from the tutor, just as you would if you were in the InStitches studio
  • chat to other students in the group
  • provide your own materials (full requirements list sent to you on booking) or
    • purchase direct from the tutor
    • depending on the workshop additional materials may be provided in the course fee

InStitches: at Home online live workshops are the closest you'll get to being with us here in the studio without actually being with us!

What our students say about Online Live workshops...

March 2021
I just wanted to say thank you and how brilliant it was. I didn't think it would be possible to get an online class to feel like a workshop, but it really did.
The captions worked really well too. Debbie's video and PowerPoint presentations really set the scene, and provided much inspiration. Her demonstrations  using a closer camera worked well,  and the personal contact as she visited each person. The number of students was right too, so I felt I got to know them a little as you would in an actual workshop.
I am so pleased with the pieces created and the inspiration gained to make more. Debbie is such a generous, supportive inspirational tutor.

March 2021
I loved all aspects of the [Online Live] course.
I was keen to attend a workshop led by Debbie Lyddon but I wasn't sure a full day of zoom was for me.
Well my apprehension was misplaced.
The day flowed well, as did the conversation. The course content and tutelage was superb. I certainly felt engaged and learnt a lot.

March 2021
Thanks to you both for a stellar job behind the scenes... I envy your savvy Zoom efforts and I think it went very smoothly except for the lack of (long distance) cake...but I do have the recipe! So much fun to be a student and Debbie was very natural, patient and inspiring in many levels. She is an incredible artist!
