Weave a willow basket with Judith Needham

Make a traditional basket with Judith Needham

Picture
In this two-day workshop with Farnham based willow weaver, Judith Needham, you will have plenty of time to make a decent sized basket whether that be a wastepaper basket, shopper, fruit bowl or small log basket - the choice is yours!

Picture
Working with Somerset grown willow, Judith will teach you the traditional stake-and-strand method with a circular English base. You will then  be able to choose a border style and add a handle, if you wish.

If you have particular ideas about what you want to make please contact us at least 2 weeks before the class to discuss.
Date: Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st January 2025

Time: 9.30am until 4.30pm

Cost: £210
A £105 deposit is payable on booking

The cost of the workshop includes being welcomed with freshly brewed morning coffee with homemade biscuits, a light seasonal lunch and before you go a nice pot of tea with a slice of delicious homemade cake plus all of the materials you'll need to make one basket.
Please note: Places are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis
