Kate Findlay at InStitches

Berkshire artist, Kate Findlay is well know for her intricately detailed textile nature studies and we are delighted to be collaborating with her.

Wild Hedgerows workshop

Create a small piece (30cm square max.) using hand dyed fabrics (provided).  Start by stencilling plant shapes before adding collage and possibly a small bird.

Stitch by machine, or hand if preferred and see how to finish your piece by mounting it over a small canvas frame.

There will be plenty of scope for individual interpretation due to the small class size.

Sewing machine required.

Date
5th September 2024
Time  9.30am – 4pm

Coffee and tea provided – bring your own lunch
