Berkshire artist, Kate Findlay is well know for her intricately detailed textile nature studies and we are delighted to be collaborating with her.
Wild Hedgerows workshop

Create a small piece (30cm square max.) using hand dyed fabrics (provided). Start by stencilling plant shapes before adding collage and possibly a small bird.
Stitch by machine, or hand if preferred and see how to finish your piece by mounting it over a small canvas frame. There will be plenty of scope for individual interpretation due to the small class size. Sewing machine required. Date 5th September 2024 Time 9.30am – 4pm Coffee and tea provided – bring your own lunch |
