Creative journeys 2026/7
Creative Journeys are monthly, independent study days best suited to intermediate and advanced students who already have competence in a range of dyeing and surface design techniques.
The aim is to facilitate individuals' development needs, with limited taught content and an evolving format. You will be encouraged to explore surfaces for stitch, building on ideas perhaps started on paper or in sketchbooks, developing them over the following months in fabric and stitch, and perhaps eventually creating a resolved piece of work.
Although Creative Journeys focuses on the individual there will be flexibility to respond to the ideas and requests of the group as the weeks progress. Throughout the year we will encourage you to work on your own personal projects and develop your creative voice.

Cost: For September 2026: £tba for 10 sessions with £tba deposit to secure your place.
The balance will be due approx. five weeks before the start of the course.

24th September 22nd October 19th November 10th December 14th January 18th February 18th March 15th April 13th May 17th June |
Group 3: Creative Journeys 2026/27 will be held on Tuesday:
22nd September 20th October 17th November 8th December 12th January 16th February 16th March 13th April 11th May 15th June |
