Deborah O'Hare - Painted landscapes
Deborah was introduced to quilting while living the life of an expat mum, in a place thousands of miles from where she is am now! On returning to the U.K. she went looking for some classes so that she could continue with her new passion and jumped feet first into City and Guilds in Patchwork and Quilting, closely followed by Machine Embroidery. It was while completing a project for the Patchwork and Quilting course that she discovered the joys of fabric painting. Needing to have projects in which to use all this painted fabrics Deborah started to design her own patterns and Quilt Routes was born!
Deborah's work reflects, amongst other things, the influence of the coastline and countryside of the heritage coast of South Wales, where she lives.
