Colourful Christmas Cushions
The Danish concept of embracing life's simple pleasures is coming to InStitches this wintertime! Hygge ( pronounced 'hoo-gah') is the concept of living cosily and making your house look happy and welcoming; hugging and cherishing yourself, battening down the hatches and snuggling up.
And what better way is there to celebrate this and the festive season than spending the day in the company of like minded people cutting and stitching a beautiful Scandinavian inspired felted wool cushion ?
In this workshop, with Hazel and good InStitches friend, Anne Gallagher, you will spend the day designing and stitching your own motif to make a cushion and if you don't finish it on the day we'll make sure you have everything you'll need to finish the project snuggled up at home!
There will be home made biscuits with morning coffee, a light seasonal lunch and an enticing cake with a pot of afternoon tea - all with a Scandinavian twist. So why not treat yourself and spend a day being creative in the company of friends this winter?
Places are limited, so don't delay - book your space today!
Whether you are a beginner or have plenty of textile experience, this workshop is suitable for all.
